Alan Cumming Previews His New Musical, Hoover Dam for Seth Meyers (Video) | Playbill

News Alan Cumming Previews His New Musical, Hoover Dam for Seth Meyers (Video) Tony winner Alan Cumming appeared on Seth Meyers' "Late Night" Feb. 3 to perform a sneak preview of the big soliloquy from what he claimed was a new musical, Hoover Dam. The song title? "Damned If I Do, Damned If I Don't."

The tongue-in-cheek sendup of stage musicals includes a chorus of taunting beavers.

Cumming was on the show to promote his new CD, "Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs: Live at the Cafe Carlyle," and a Feb. 8 Carnegie Hall performance of songs from the album with support from his 2015 Tony Awards co-host, Kristin Chenoweth, plus Darren Criss and Ricki Lake.
