The musical, also titled Jagged Little Pill, will feature all of the songs from the album, including "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket," "Ironic" and "You Learn," in addition to other material from her catalogue and new songs written specifically for the production.

A director and a timeline for the musical's Broadway arrival were not announced.

Morissette won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year with the release of "Jagged Little Pill," making her the youngest artist in history to win the title at age 21. The album, which produced six hit singles and was certified 16x Platinum, has gone on to sell over 33 million copies worldwide.

Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, If/Then), who worked on the Broadway premiere of Green Day's American Idiot, will pen orchestrations and new arrangements for the production. Vivek J. Tiwary, who also produced American Idiot, will produce Jagged Little Pill along with Arvind Ethan David.

"You Oughta Know" won Best Female Rock Vocal Performance and Best Rock Song.
