"Perks" is the big-hearted story of Josh (Lysistrata Jones' Alex Wyse), a tech-savvy gamer, in love with the beautiful Courtney (Strong), but too shy to tell her how he feels. With his nerd-herd/tech posse and Darwin (Brightman), his gay and most fun friend ever, they secretly write Courtney a musical based on her favorite book, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

The series, created and executive produced by Tom Diggs, also features Paul Cereghino (Tony and Tina's Wedding) and Arden Myrin ("Chelsea Lately," "Mad TV"). Drawing from the rising stars of the Broadway community, "Perks" features original songs by Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon) and Mishaela Faucer (Off-Broadway's I Married Wyatt Earp) and is directed by Bill Oliver.
