Broadway Dreams’ Summer Intensive, now in session through August 4 in Charlotte, North Carolina, is led by a roster of Broadway artists and industry professionals, who guide Charlotte’s rising stars in a week-long program that focuses on acting, vocal performance, and dance.

During the Broadway Dreams Charlotte Intensive, students have the opportunity to work with director Noah Himmelstein, two-time Emmy-nominated choreographer Spencer Liff and pop music choreographer Victor J. Jackson, casting directors Rachel Hoffman of Telsey + Company and Eric Woodall of Tara Rubin Casting, talent agents Jamie Harris of Clear Talent Group and Erkia Karnel of BRS/Gage, and stars of stage and screen, including Matthew Scott, Christopher J. Hanke, Ryann Redmond, NYC Ballet principal dancer Robert Fairchild, Alex Newell, Maxx Reed, Elizabeth Stanley, Nicholas Rodriguez, Van Hansis, Adam Jepsen, Noah J. Ricketts, Valdim Fletcher, Sara Jean Ford, and Evan Kasprzak.


The week will culminate in two public performances of The Hits: Reimagined (where students perform alongside their Broadway idols) August 3–4 at 7 PM at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center.

Attendees can expect to hear tunes from The Greatest Showman, On Your Feet!, Mamma Mia!, 9 to 5, and West Side Story, along with songs made famous by Celine Dion, The Spice Girls, The Backstreet Boys, Miley Cyrus, Fun, and more.
