News Alexander Hamilton Rises from the Grave in Planned Comic Book Tales From the Crypt story was inspired by Hamilton.

Creepy classic comic book series Tales From the Crypt is planning a comeback with a Broadway-themed story arc in which Founding Father Alexander Hamilton rises from the grave in response to the hit musical Hamilton.

As reported by BleedingCool.com, “This issue’s main attraction is ’Opening Fright,’ in which we discovered Alexander Hamilton was literally turning over in his grave regarding a particular award-winning, Hip-Hop Broadway musical. That’s right—Alexander Hamilton has risen from the grave!”

It will be one of three stories explored in the Tales From the Crypt comic, which will have stories by writers Gerry Conway, David Anthony Kraft and Stefan Petrucha, illustrations by artists Robert Hack and Miran Kim and covers by Jolyon Yates, Bob Camp, Russ Heath and Dean Haspiel.

No word on when the issue will hit the stands.
