Cabaret & Concert News Alexandra Socha and Hannah Elless Among Actors Set for Free Broadway's Future Concert The NYC concert will spotlight the work of Zack Zadek.

Broadway’s Future Songbook Series, which is presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow, will continue April 24 in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.

Produced, directed, and hosted by John Znidarsic, the free evening will spotlight the songs of Zack Zadek. Show time is 6 PM.

Performers will include Alexandra Socha (Fun Home, Spring Awakening), Kathryn Gallagher (Spring Awakening), Hannah Elless (Bright Star, Godspell), and Harrison Chad (Caroline, or Change). The vocalists will be backed by Ethan Packchar on guitar and Jon Epcar on percussion.

Zadek is an award-winning composer/lyricist, songwriter, performer, and playwright who is a 2017 Jonathan Larson Grant Finalist and a 2017 MacDowell Fellow. He won the 2017 Weston New Musical Award for his book, music, and lyrics to Deathless, which will have its world premiere at Goodspeed Musicals this spring. Other pieces in development include The Crazy Ones, The Role of a Lifetime, and 6.
