News Alfred Molina, South Coast Rep's Major Barbara Win L.A. Drama Critics Circle Awards South Coast Repertory's staging of Major Barbara and actor Alfred Molina were among the winners at a March 10 ceremony for The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. The event took place at the Colony Theatre in Burbank.

The awards which are granted for "excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theater for the year 2002," went to a number of California theatre companies. A number of multiple winners appeared in some categories — in the Direction and Set Design categories all nominees went home with a prize.
