The 2018 Boston Pops spring season, under the direction of Keith Lockhart, concludes June 15–16 with West Side Story in Concert in celebration of the Leonard Bernstein centennial.

The cast includes Ali Ewoldt as Maria, Natalie Cortez as Anita, Ross Lekites as Tony, John Arthur Greene as Riff, Mikey Winslow as Action, Christopher Rice as Baby John, Alex Ringler as Diesel, Ryan Ghysels as A-rab, Clay Thomson as Snowboy, Maya Post as Rosalia/A Girl, Kat Nejat as Consuelo, Alexandra Blake Redelico as Francisca, German Alexander as Bernardo, Dean Andre de Luna as Chino, Jeffrey C. Sousa as Pepe, and Will Lebow as Doc/Krupke.

This production is directed and produced by Chad Hilligus.

West Side Story debuted on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre in September 1957. It played 732 performances before closing June 27, 1959. Conceived, directed, and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, the original cast included Larry Kert as Tony, Carol Lawrence as Maria, and Chita Rivera as Anita. The classic Leonard Bernstein-Stephen Sondheim score boasts such tunes as “Tonight,” “America,” “Maria,” “I Feel Pretty,” and “Somewhere.”
