Feinstein’s/54 Below, the supper club located below Manhattan's Studio 54, will boast these events of interest to theatre folk the week of November 23–30:

November 23–25: Steppin’ Out With Ben Vereen
Personal stories and songs from throughout the Tony-winning entertainer’s nearly half-century career, which has included Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Roots. Plus a special Thanksgiving Day show. 7 PM. Click here for details.

November 24: Sheldon Becton
The music director, pianist, and actor along with Audra McDonald in the London production of Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill, Bectom makes his 54 Below solo debut with R&B and jazz arrangements of songs including “Only For One Night” and “Make It Easy On Yourself.” Tony Award winner and Theater Hall of Fame inductee Phylicia Rashad will join him for a duet on “We Belong Together.” 9:30 PM

November 26: Sondheim Unplugged
Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd’s original Johanna), Joy Franz (Into the Woods’ original Stepmother), Pamela Winslow Kashani (Into the Woods’ original Rapunzel), Teri Ralston (Company’s original Jenny, Night Music’s original Mrs. Nordstrom) and Liz McCartney (Sunday in the Park with George) are special guests at this monthly salute to songwriter Stephen Sondheim. 7 PM

November 26: J. Michael Zygo
Currently appearing in School of Rock on Broadway, Zygo, who was an original cast member in Once, will sing a mixtape of songs from Once, Rock of Ages, The Wedding Singer, Big River, The Bridges of Madison County and others, plus some original songs chronicling his career so far. Special guests include Shannon O’Boyle, Justin Matthew Sargent, and Josh Tower. 9:30 PM

November 28 and December 1, 2, and 6: Alice Ripley & Emily Skinner: Unattached
The two stars who played conjoined twins in the 1997 musical Side Show have gone on to separate success in shows including Next to Normal and The Full Monty. They reunite from time to time for this cabaret show that includes “As If We Never Said Goodbye,” “Bosom Buddies,” and “Two Little Sisters.” 7 PM. Click here for details.

November 28: New Musical: The Year of Living Dangerously
Scarlett Strallen, Simon Jones, Eric Badique, Kevin Earley, and Josephine K. Cho are featured in this showcase of the score to the new Thomas Tierney and Jeffrey Haddow musical based on the award-winning film, set in wartime Indonesia. 9:30 PM

November 29: 54 Sings Woman of the Year
Dee Hoty, Alice Ripley, Christine Pedi, Barbara Walsh, and Joyce DeWitt are among stars who will alternate in the title role of this 1981 Kander & Ebb musical, being presented in concert form. Two shows: 7 and 9:30 PM. Click here for details.
