All About Us is one of four shows that the famed songwriting duo of composer John Kander and lyricist Fred Ebb (Chicago, Cabaret) were working on when Ebb passed away in 2004 (another is Curtains, currently on Broadway). The book to All About Us is by Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof).

The show began previews April 10, official opening night was April 14 and press opening was April 19.

Gabriel Barre directed and Christopher Gattelli choreographed All About Us, which is based on Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Skin of Our Teeth.

The musical is the story of the Antrobus family, which serves as a stand-in for the entire human race, living for many millennia and enduring various catastrophes.

"We see this family through all kinds of struggles, both natural and man-made, including world wars, floods, ice storms as well as their own family battles along the way," Barre said at a press preview for the show. "The show is about the survival of the family of mankind." "This takes place over 600,000 years, but I think what they're trying to say in this is that no matter what age you live in, we all have the same problems," Hensley told Playbill.com.

Hensley stars as Mr. Antrobus, Huffman plays Sabina the maid, and Kitt plays Esmeralda, the Fortune Teller.

Yvette Freeman (Nurse Haleh Adams on "ER") plays Mrs. Antrobus, and the Antrobus children include Samantha Futerman ("Memoirs of a Geisha") as Gladys and Carlo Alban as Henry. Eric Michael Gillett (Broadway's The Frogs, Sweet Smell of Success, Kiss Me Kate) and Drew Taylor (Broadway's Sweet Smell of Success, Annie, The Secret Garden) play the Woolly Mammoths.

Other cast members include Tony Freeman as Stage Manager and David Standish as Hologram Boy; the ensemble comprises Michael James Leslie, Michael Thomas Holmes (Oklahoma! on Broadway), J. Elaine Marcos (The Wedding Singer and other Broadway shows), Daniel Marcus (Broadway's Urinetown, The Woman in White), Rachelle Rak (Broadway's Fosse, Oklahoma!, Cats), Frank Vlastnik and Sally Ann Tumas.

The design team includes James Youmans (sets), Ken Billington (lights), Ann Hould-Ward (costumes) and Brian Ronan (sound). The musical director is Patrick Vaccariello.
