Broadway News Alli Mauzey Joins Broadway’s Hello, Dolly! The Wicked and Cry-Baby alum takes over for Tony nominee Jennifer Simard as Ernestina.

Broadway alum Alli Mauzey will join the cast of Broadway’s Hello, Dolly! beginning March 23. She takes on the role of Ernestina Money, replacing Tony nominee Jennifer Simard, who took her final bow at the Shubert Theatre March 18.

Mauzey starred on Broadway as Glinda in Wicked, having previously appeared in Cry-Baby and Hairspray. Her additional credits include last year’s Encores! presentation of The Golden Apple.

The cast of the Tony-winning revival features three-time Tony recipient Bernadette Peters in the title role, with Victor Garber as Horace Vandergelder, Kate Baldwin as Irene Molloy, Charlie Stemp as Barnaby Tucker, and Molly Griggs as Minnie Fay. Santino Fontana currently plays a limited engagement as Cornelius Hackl, filling in for Tony winner Gavin Creel as he recovers from back surgery.
