News Allied Live Opens DC Office to Handle Regional Entertainment Marketing Allied Live, a marketing firm catering to the live entertainment industry, including working for resident theatres and producers of major tours of plays and musicals, has opened an office in Washington, DC.

Jo Manley, formerly of Stevens Advertising and The Kennedy Center, runs the office as the director of client services/business development supported by account executive Bridget Schwabenbauer.

Manley "will create and manage strategic planning and development of the marketing needs for all clients within the Washington, DC metro area and elsewhere," according to the recent announcement. Current clients include Washington National Opera, Shakespeare Theatre Company and Strathmore Arts Center.

Prior to joining Allied Live, Manley worked for Stevens Advertising where she created and implemented marketing strategy for cultural clients in Washington DC, Philadelphia, Miami, Chicago and Pittsburgh. Her clients included the National Theatre, Strathmore Arts Center, Disney Theatricals, Kimmel Center, Adrienne Arsht Center, Shakespeare Theatre Company and Washington, DC, Convention & Tourism Corporation, The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

Bridget Schwabenbauer joins the company after working at the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington National Opera and Feld Entertainment.

"We've expanded our client base within the live entertainment category over the past few years and Jo's experience with non-profit cultural clients, performing arts centers and Broadway shows is the perfect fit for us," managing partner Laura Matalon said in a statement. "She is uniquely positioned to help build our business and oversee the DC office." With the opening of this new office Lesley-Anne Stone, located in the Los Angeles office, has been promoted to senior vice president. In this capacity she will continue to manage the Los Angeles office as well as the DC office and concentrate on the development of new business nationwide.

Kelly Estrella, also in the Los Angeles office, has been promoted to director of account services for the West Coast. She will be overseeing the roster of clients handled out of the Los Angeles office including Madame Tussaud's Hollywood, Hollywood and Highland Center, LA Phil, Reprise Theatre Company and Center Theatre Group.

With offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC, Allied Live "offers full service capabilities including marketing direction, media placement, creative development and production, strategic partnerships, promotional programs, digital services, grassroots outreach and event stunts." Allied Live is a division of Allied Integrated Marketing. The firm has 20 offices in the U.S. and Canada making it the largest privately held company of its kind in North America.
