Did you think Julie Andrews has a Tony or two?  Did you figure that the composer of the Broadway hit Wicked received a trophy for that musical? Not so. It may be surprising to learn that some of the most well-known and busy people working on Broadway have never won a Tony Award — even if they have several nominations under their belt.

	Kelli O'Hara

One of Broadway's most prolific leading ladies, Kelli O'Hara received her first Tony nomination for her performance as Clara in Adam Guettel's Tony-winning The Light in the Piazza in 2005. She promptly racked up nominations in the following years for The Pajama Game, South Pacific and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Her performance as Francesca in this season's musical The Bridges of Madison County garnered the glorious soprano Tony nomination number five: Perhaps this will be O'Hara's long-awaited Tony moment.

	Julie Andrews

It may come as a shock to many that Broadway legend Julie Andrews, who is an Emmy, Grammy and Oscar winner best-known for her on-screen musical roles in "Mary Poppins" and "The Sound of Music," has never won a Tony Award. She was nominated for her performance as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, losing to Judy Holliday for Bells Are Ringing, and again in 1961 for Camelot, losing to Elizabeth Seal in Irma La Douce. Andrews famously declined her most recent nomination, for Victor/Victoria, due to the show having been overlooked in all other categories.

	Raúl Esparza

Raul Esparza has established himself as one of the most versatile men on Broadway, having been nominated for Tonys in all four acting categories: Featured Actor in a Musical (Taboo), Actor in a Musical (Company), Featured Actor in a Play (The Homecoming) and Actor in a Play (Speed-the-Plow). While Esparza has garnered a Theatre World Award and three Drama Desk prizes, a Tony remains elusive.

	Jan Maxwell

Another ubiquitous leading lady with a handful of nominations on her resume, Jan Maxwell had the distinction of being nominated for both Featured Actress and Actress in a Play the same year  — 2010 — for Lend Me a Tenor and The Royal Family, respectively. Her Tony-nominated stage credits also include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Coram Boy and Follies. She, too, has been nominated in all four Tony acting categories.

	Danny Burstein

Another Broadway vet that seemingly never steps off the stage, delivering one knockout performance after another, Danny Burstein has received five nominations in the past eight years and three in the past three years alone — Follies, Golden Boy and this season's Cabaret. His performances in The Drowsy Chaperone and South Pacific also received nods from the Tony committee. Perhaps Burstein will bring home the Tony June 8.

Six-time Tony nominee Stephen Schwartz, the composer of Wicked, one of the longest-running Broadway hits, is also the man behind the tunes of the 2012 Best Revival winner Pippin, as well as Godspell, Working and the lyrics of Rags. While his work has been recognized by the Grammys, the Oscars and the Drama Desk Awards, he has yet to add a Tony to his shelf.
