Cabaret fixture and tunesmith Amanda Green will bring her act, Put a Little Love in Your Mouth, to the Duplex on Sept. 22. The event will be part of the boite's "Downtown Revivals Series."

Green has previously presented Mouth around New York City at such places as Second Stage. The show features tongue-in-cheek songs by the songwriter. Helping her out this time around are Jonathan Dokuchitz (The Boys From Syracuse), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (On The Town) and Kim Lindsay (Titanic). Musical Director is Tom Kitt.

In the past, such performers as Brooks Ashmanskas, Mario Cantone, Lea DeLaria, Billy Stritch and Mary Testa have lent a hand.

The Duplex show will introduce two songs from Green's musical, Once Upon a Primetime, which had a run in Los Angeles this past summer.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street in New York's Greenwich Village. There is a $15 cover charge and a two-drink minimum; call (212) 255 5438 for reservations. —By Robert Simonson
