The show, which was conceived by Eric Michael Gillett and Arthur Masella, will offer additional performances March 15 and 17 at 7 PM.
McBroom's compositions include "The Rose," "Errol Flynn" and "Crimes of the Heart." Her theatre credits as an actor include Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Seesaw, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music and Mame. Her screen credits include "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Magnum, P.I." and "M*A*S*H." The musical Heartbeats is based on her songs.
The Amanda McBroom Project brings both cabaret and theatre performers together to interpret her songs.
Directed by Gillett and Masella, the cast includes Karen Akers (Grand Hotel, Nine), Aisha de Haas (The Trip to Bountiful, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), Terese Genecco, Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked, In the Heights), Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, K.T. Sullivan (Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Threepenny Opera), Alison Grace Bradbury, Leah Jennings, Eva Kantor, Lauren Stanford, Erin Wegner Brooks and Melanie Vaughan (Ring of Fire, Parade). Jeff Cubeta provides musical direction.
