Singer Amanda McBroom will begin an engagement at Manhattan's Joe's Pub on June 26. The stay will last through July 6, with performances running Monday through Thursday. The event marks McBroom's first New York appearance in two years. She will perform a series of songs and sketches penned by herself. McBroom is best known for writing the song "The Rose," made famous by Bette Midler.
