News   Amazing Grace Stars Head to the Chatterbox Today
Chuck Cooper and Josh Young, stars of the new Broadway musical Amazing Grace, are special guests at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox — hosted by Seth Rudetsky — Aug. 20.

Young plays the spoiled young slave trader who is transformed by a series of incidents into an ardent opponent of slavery, and the lyricist of the title hymn. Cooper plays his long-suffering slave.

Rudetsky's weekly live talk show, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is now held at 5 PM (to accommodate 7 PM curtains) at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.

(Seth Rudetsky has played piano in the pits of many Broadway shows including Ragtime, Grease and The Phantom of the Opera. He was the artistic producer/conductor for the first five Actors Fund concerts including Dreamgirls and Hair, which were both recorded. As a performer, he appeared on Broadway in The Ritz and on TV in "All My Children," "Law and Order C.I." and on MTV's "Made" and "Legally Blonde: The Search for the Next Elle Woods."
