According to the Really Useful website, the remaining "Idol" finalists will perform Lloyd Webber tunes on the April 22 broadcast of the famed singing competition.

The broadcast will also feature footage of the award-winning composer guiding the contestants as they perform his songs on the set of Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

The April 23 "Idol" results show will feature Lloyd Webber performing live with the contestants.

The "Idol" finalists currently include David Archuleta, Jason Castro, David Cook, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns, Syesha Mercado, Carly Smithson and Brooke White.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is the award-winning composer of The Likes of Us, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, By Jeeves, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Starlight Express, Whistle Down the Wind, The Woman in White, The Beautiful Game and Song & Dance. Among his producing credits are Bombay Dreams and the current West End revival of The Sound of Music. Lloyd Webber also took part in the TV reality casting shows for The Sound of Music and the current London revival of Joseph. He also owns seven London theatres, including the Palace, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and the London Palladium.

The composer is currently penning a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.

"American Idol" airs Tuesday nights at 8 PM ET on FOX TV. The results show airs the following evening at 9 PM.
