PlayBlog "American Idol" Gets a Little Bit Country As the clock winds down on this season's "American Idol," the pressure keeps rising and the starry guest acts keep on coming.


On next week’s episodes, the show will welcome a bevy of country superstars. The Top 6 will tackle numbers from the Shania Twain songbook on April 27. To add to the pressure, Twain - whose hits include “You’re Still The One” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much” - will be mentoring the singers herself.

The following night, on the April 28 voting results show, Lady Antebellum will perform the runaway hit “Need You Now,” and Rascal Flatts will present the group's latest single “Unstoppable.”

FOX’s "American Idol" airs Tuesdays at 8 PM, and the results show airs Wednesdays at 9 PM.
