News American Psycho and Spring Awakening's Duncan Sheik Will Sing Solo at Chicago's City Winery Grammy and Tony Award-winning songwriter and composer Duncan Sheik will make his debut at Chicago's City Winery (1200 W. Randolph) Oct. 30 at 8 PM.

Sheik has released seven albums, and his song "Barely Breathing” spent a record 55 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. He is the composer of the eight Tony-winning Broadway hit Spring Awakening, and he received a Grammy for producing the Spring Awakening cast album.

He is also the composer for American Psycho, a musical based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel of the same name, which recently played in London and is rumored to arrive on Broadway in 2015.

Sheik will play City Winery – the Chicago winery, restaurant and event space – in the 300-person concert hall and sing some of his own stand-alone solo pop songs.
