Commissioned by the Kennedy Center as part of "The Presidency of John F. Kennedy: A 50th Anniversary Celebration," the hour-long play is based on two collections of poetry selected by Caroline Kennedy: "The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis" and "A Family of Poems: My Favorite Poetry for Children."

With script by Jason Williamson and direction by Kathleen Amshoff, this production for young audiences, according to Kennedy Center notes, "leads a journey through the touchstones of the Kennedy family." The play is recommended for audiences aged nine and up.

The cast features Tonya Beckman Ross, Kate Debelack, Paige Hernandez, Matthew McGloin, Tony Nam, Michael Russotto and Theodore M. Snead. The production also includes set design by Dan Conway, costume design by Kathleen Geldard, lighting design by Andrew Cissna and sound design by Elisheba Ittoop.

All tickets cost $18 and can be purchased online at kennedy-center.org or by calling Instant Charge at (202) 467-4600. Patrons living outside the Washington metropolitan area may dial toll-free at (800) 444-1324.
