American Woman, a dramedy set amid the sexual revolution and rise of feminism in the 1970s, will premiere on Paramount Network June 7 at 10 PM ET.
Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson, recently seen in the film version of the musical Hello Again, is featured in the 12-episode series.
The cast of the series, which is inspired by the upbringing of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, is headed by Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, Time Stands Still on Broadway), Mena Suvari (American Beauty, Chicago Fire), and Jennifer Bartels (Broken).
Jackson recently posted a photo with co-star Suvari on Instagram.
American Woman follows Bonnie (Silverstone), an unconventional mother struggling to raise her two daughters after leaving her husband. Bonnie comes to rely on the help of her two best friends, Kathleen (Suvari) and Diana (Bartels), as they each discover their own brand of independence.
The series is executive-produced by Emmy winner John Wells and co-executive-produced by Richards.
