News   Amy Hohn Replaces Nancy Opel in George Street Fairway; Michael Mastro Also Joins Cast
Amy Hohn, whose Broadway credits include November and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, has replaced the previously announced Nancy Opel — who will join the Broadway cast of Memphis March 15 — in the George Street Playhouse's upcoming production of Ken Ludwig’s new farce, The Fox on the Fairway.

Directed by George Street artistic director David Saint, the production will begin previews at the New Brunswick venue March 22 prior to an official opening March 25. Performances will continue through April 17.

The cast will also include Michael Mastro (Inspecting Carol, The Sunshine Boys), Peter Scolari (Inspecting Carol and TV’s "Newhart"), Mary Testa (Xanadu, 42nd Street), Reggie Gowland and Lisa McCormick.

The Fox on the Fairway, according to press notes, "opens as underdog Quail Valley Country Club prepares to take on archrival Crouching Squirrel in this year’s Annual Inter-Club Golf Tournament. With a sizable wager at stake, the contest plays out amidst three love affairs, a disappearing diamond, objectionable sweaters and an exploding vase. Sex and water hazards collide in this artful madcap adventure about love and golf."

Creating the Country Club-style of the production are scenic designer Michael Anania, costume designer David Murin and lighting and sound designer Christopher J. Bailey.
