In a press statement, Tompsett said, "Growing up listening to 80's Power Ballads on VH1, I used to dream about combining 80's rock songs with musical comedy, but someone beat me to it. Rock of Ages is way better than what I dreamt of, and you know what they say - 'If you can't beat them, join them!'"

Lipkin, who played Nicky/Trekkie Monster in the original London cast of Avenue Q, will play the wise-cracking narrator Lonny. To book tickets, contact the box office on 020 7379 5399, or visit www.rockofagesmusical.co.uk.
