The 8 PM event, hosted by Antonio Saillant, is headlined by selections from Yahweh, which is written, produced and composed by Shandell King ("House of Payne," "Guiding Light"). Joel Diamond provides musical direction.

Yahweh on Broadway, according to press notes, "is a compelling story of Greg McKenzie's (Taso Mikroulis) journey and triumph after suffering the loss of his mother to breast cancer. It is a journey to finding peace with God in the shadow of this tragedy. The inspired musical was written after the tragic loss of the playwright's cousin to Hodgkin's Lymphoma while also enduring the rising number of friend's with loved ones affected by cancer."

The evening honors those lost and living with cancer as well as the 9/11 first responders that fell victim to cancer due to asbestos poisoning. The first 40 cancer patients to attend the event will receive cancer care bags.

The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Theater is located at 120 West 46th Street (between 6th and 7th avenues). For more information, email [email protected], call (646) 544-6828 or visit Facebook.com/LavieTheaters. For tickets, click here.
