News An Evening with Paula Deen and Family to Play the Pantages Restaurateur, television chef and cook book author Paula Deen will be seen at the Pantages Theatre in March.

An Evening with Paula Deen and Family will play the famed Hollywood venue March 4 at 8 PM.

Deen and her family, according to press notes, will give "each audience member a rare opportunity to share a delicious evening with the icons that they have come to know and love on television. . . . [The Deens will] present an evening of cooking demonstrations, story-telling, Q and A, and generally a lot of good fun. This staged event will be fully equipped with big screens to ensure that all audience members receive a clear view of the on stage demonstrations."

A limited number of tickets are being offered for a pre-show dinner taking place at 6 PM at nearby Citizen Smith, where guests will "share in a rare opportunity to enjoy a special dinner with Paula Deen and family prior to their show."

Paula Deen has authored nine cookbooks, publishes the magazine "Cooking with Paula Deen" and stars in three TV shows on the Food Network: "Paula's Home Cooking," "Paula's Party" and "Paula's Best Dishes."  Her sons are Jamie and Bobby Deen; the three operate the popular restaurant, The Lady & Sons, in Savannah, GA.
