Adrian Brine's production of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband (Un Mari Ideal) has reopened at the Theatre Antoine for 100 performances, with a partly new cast. This production originally opened in the same theatre on Sept. 8, 1995 -- one century after the creation of this English classic -- and ran 500 performances. It won the 1996 Moliere Award for Best Production in a Private Theatre. The leading newcomers in this production are Christiane Cohendy, Michael Denard, Aurore Clement and Bernard Alane.

Bernard Alane regurlarly switches from film to theatre, and from musicals to television. Alane has done several voices for French versions of Disney's animated movies, the most recent being The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. He has also worked twice with director Christopher Renshaw (King and I), once in London in Bless The Bride and once in Sydney in South Pacific.
