Manhattan Theatre Works and Goode Productions, in association with The Theater at the 14th Street Y, will present the return of Anaïs Nin Goes to Hell by David Stallings. The existential comedy received a workshop production as part of the New York International Fringe Festival in 2008.

With direction by Antonio Minino, performances are set to run October 14-29 at The Theater at the 14th Street Y.

The characters in Anaïs Nin Goes to Hell are some of the most powerful women in history—Queen Victoria, Cleopatra, Andromeda, Heloise and Joan of Arc—gathered together on an island in the afterlife. Their worlds are suddenly turned upside down by the arrival of writer Anaïs Nin.

The show stars James Edward Becton, Mel House, Amanda Jones, Richard Lindenfelzer, Nylda Mark, Madalyn McKay, Hannah Seusy and Stephanie Willing.

The production will feature scenic design by Blair Mielnik, lighting design by Dan Gallagher, costume design by Izzy Fields and sound design by Martha Goode (executive producer). The production’s line producer is Collin Bradley, and the production stage manager is Rachel Denise April.

Tickets are $18-$25 and can be purchased online by visiting 14streety.org/anaisnin or by calling (646) 395-4310.
