Broadway News Anastasia Will Offer Special Actors Fund Performance The new musical recently celebrated 100 performances at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Anastasia, the new stage musical based on the 1997 animated film, will offer a special performance to benefit the Actors Fund September 17 at 8 PM at the Broadhurst Theatre.

For these special performances, which are open to the public, Broadway companies donate their time to benefit the Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis, or transition.

The production, which officially opened April 24, features a score by Tony Award winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty and an all-new book by Tony winner Terrence McNally. The cast is headed by Christy Altomare as Anya, Derek Klena as Dmitry, John Bolton as Vlad, Caroline O’Connor as Lily, Ramin Karimloo as Gleb, and 2017 Tony nominee Mary Beth Peil as Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna.
