News Andersen, Coulter and Di Pasqua Cancel July 27 Southern Comfort at the Metropolitan Room The July 27 performance of Southern Comfort: A Down-Home Country Music Jamboree at the Metropolitan Room has been canceled.

A statement says the evening has been canceled due to "the illness of one of the performers." The show co-stars Tom Andersen, Scott Coulter and Tim Di Pasqua.

The encore performance, scheduled for Aug. 3 at 7:30 PM, is currently scheduled to go on as planned.

Southern Comfort was seen in August 2006 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The revue won both the 2007 Backstage Bistro Award and the 2007 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Musical Group.

Tom Andersen performed Off-Broadway in Cabariety and in the San Francisco production of Beach Blanket Babylon. Scott Coulter played Jinx in the national tour of Forever Plaid and appeared in the world premiere of Floyd Collins. A founding member of Third Eye Theatre Co., Tim Di Pasqua wrote the score to the new musical Synchronicity.
