Classic Arts News Andr_ Rieu Albums Move Up Billboard Charts Violinist Andr_ Rieu enjoyed increased sales this week, with three of his albums moving up the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts.
The crossover star was apparently the beneficiary of PBS pledge-drive broadcasts of his concert film The Flying Dutchman.

Rieu's Tuscany moved up to number two on the classical chart, its peak position in 48 weeks on the chart. His Live in Dublin, which has spent 80 weeks on the classical chart and peaked at number four, jumped from number ten to number six. On the crossover chart, meanwhile, Rieu's At the Movies moved from number 14 to number six.

Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble's Silk Road Journeys: Beyond the Horizon remained at number one on the classical chart, where it has spent 18 of the last 20 weeks. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Chose Something Like a Star jumped from number six to number three.

Il Divo's self-titled debut stayed at number one on the classical-crossover chart, with Josh Groban's Closer, the soundtrack to Star Wars Episode III, and Amici Forever's Defined remaining steady at numbers two through four.
