The Bay Street Theater has announced its Music Mondays summer cabaret lineup, which will launch July 1 with Jill Eikenberry (L.A. Law, Moonchildren) and special guest David Rasche (An Unmarried Woman, Sledge Hammer), along with Michael Tucker and musicians Mike Kuennen, Zach Eldridge, and Lee Weisman.

Appearing July 8 will be Tony nominee Andrea McArdle (Annie) and Tony winner Donna McKechnie (A Chorus Line) with their nightclub act, Hamlisch and Sondheim. Opening with Sondheim’s “Another Hundred People” from Company, the Broadway favorites take the audience on a musical journey as they share personal stories and songs.

Tony winner Linda Lavin (The Lyons, Gypsy, Alice) will offer an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as show tunes, Brazilian music, and even the Alice theme song July 15. Lavin will be jouned by Billy Stritch at the piano, her husband Steve Bakunas on the drums, and special guest jazz violinist Aaron Weinstein.

Fresh off her turn as Donna Summer in Broadway’s Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Tony and Emmy winner LaChanze (The Color Purple, If/Then) will appear August 5 with her latest show, Feeling Good. The evening promises a peek into her life through song with original material as well as musical highlights from her career.

Following on August 12 will be rock powerhouse Pat Benatar and her husband Neil Giraldo. The two, who are reportedly working on a stage musical based on Benatar’s life and career, will perform stripped-down, acoustic versions of her hits while delivering the stories behind the songs.

Tony-winning Jersey Boys star John Lloyd Young will appear August 19 to perform an evening of Broadway and pop, with highlights from his debut album My Turn, including “Sherry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “In the Still of the Night,” and more.

The season closes August 26 with fashion designer and cabaret performer Isaac Mizrahi’s new act Queen Size. The concert promises songs by Leonard Bernstein, Cat Stevens, Jimmy Webb, John Kander, Cole Porter, James Taylor, and Jerome Kern.
