News Andrea McArdle, Eden Espinosa and Jarrod Emick to Mentor for Broadway Dreams Foundation Tony Award nominee Andrea McArdle, who made her Broadway debut as Annie at the age of 13, will mentor young performers in the Broadway Dreams Foundation's upcoming workshops in Philadelphia.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation has partnered with Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Aug. 1-6 intensive that immerses children in acting, music and dance, as well as audition technique.

Students then have the opportunity to perform for and receive feedback from Craig Burns and Rachel Hoffman from Telsey + Company. The intensive culminates in a public performance titled True Colors, which will also feature the faculty performing alongside the students.

McArdle will join participants in performances of a medley from Annie, including "Tomorrow," "Maybe," "Hard Knock Life" and "Little Girls."

Joining McArdle in the workshops will be director and producer Richard Jay-Alexander, Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick (Damn Yankees, Leap of Faith), Eden Espinosa (Wicked), Tituss Burgess (Jersey Boys), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line), James Kinney (Sweet Charity) and Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime).

Also leading the events will be BDF artistic director and former Legally Blonde cast member Paul Canaan and BDF co-founder and vocal coach Dave Barrus. For tickets to the performance, priced $18-$71, phone (215) 893-1999 or visit KimmelCenter.
