News Andrew Lippa's Wild Party Will Get Jazz Makeover at 54 Below With Julia Murney, Jeremy Jordan and More Original The Wild Party star Julia Murney will be joined by Jeremy Jordan, Lea DeLaria and more for a special one-night-only concert of re-imagined songs from that Andrew Lippa Drama Desk Award-winning musical.

Presented April 17 at 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM, The Wild Party Swings features songs from Lippa's musical as re-imagined by Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band. Noah Himmelstein (I Am Harvey Milk, Little Miss Sunshine) will direct the evening that has music supervision by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. Robb Nanus produces.

Composer-lyricist Lippa (Big Fish, The Addams Family) will be part of the evening that features original "Queenie" Murney, alongside Jordan (Newsies, "Smash"), DeLaria ("Orange is the New Black," The Rocky Horror Show) and Stark Sands (Kinky Boots, American Idiot). Also appearing at the 9:30 PM show will be Ciara Renée (Big Fish), while Caissie Levy (Les Miserables) will appear at the 11:30 PM performance.

According to the creators, "Andrew Lippa’s iconic musical The Wild Party is back and bigger than ever. With the help of Charlie Rosen and his 17-piece jazz band, hear your favorite hits like never before. Join award-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa and some of Broadway’s best as they reimagine and rediscover the score that started it all."

Tickets go on sale to the general public Feb. 24. Members of the 54 Below insider list may purchase tickets beginning Feb. 20. There is a $40-$50 cover with a $25 minimum. 54 Below is located at 254 W. 54th Street. Tickets and additional information are available at 54Below.com.
