Three theatre favorites will be special guests when fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi returns to the intimate stage of the Café Carlyle in June.
Mizrahi will offer three performances of Isaac & June 10, 17, and 24. He’ll be joined by his band of jazz musicians, led by Ben Waltzer, for an evening of eclectic tunes and storytelling. Each night a friend will join him onstage for a few songs and banter: Ana Gasteyer (Saturday Night Live, Wicked, A Christmas Story Live!) on June 10, Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon, Girls, The Boys in the Band) on June 17, and Obie winner Justin Vivian Bond (Kiki & Herb: Live on Broadway) on June 24.
Mizrahi has worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, host, writer, designer, and producer for over 30 years. He is the subject and co-creator of Unzipped, a documentary following the making of his fall 1994 collection, which received an award at the Sundance Film Festival. He hosted his own talk show, The Isaac Mizrahi Show, for seven years, and served as a judge on Project Runway: All-Stars for the series’ entire seven-season run.
Reservations can be made online via Ticketweb. Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel (35 East 76th Street, at Madison Avenue).
