Somewhere in Time has music by Doug Katsaros and lyrics by Amanda Yesnowitz with a book by Altar Boyz and Godspell producer Ken Davenport. Original screenwriter and novelist Matheson was previously attached as the co-book writer along with Davenport.

Samonsky (Queen of the Mist, South Pacific, Scandalous), who took part in an earlier reading of Somewhere in Time, returns to play Richard Collier, with Barrett (Baby It's You) as Elise McKenna, Lenny Wolpe (The Drowsy Chaperone) as Arthur, Hayden Signoretti (Mary Poppins) as Young Arthur and Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde) as Robinson.

Also participating are Jason Babinsky, Leslie Becker, Etai BenShlomo, Meggie Cansler, Hannah Elless, Chris Hoch, Julia Mattison, Michael Pesce, Don Stephenson, Jessica Vosk and Tad Wilson.

Scott Schwartz (Jane Eyre, Golda's Balcony) directs the private industry reading. He will also helm the PCS production that will debut May 28, 2013, in Portland, OR. (Casting has not been announced for the PCS world premiere.)

Here's how the creative team bills the musical: "In Somewhere in Time, young playwright Richard Collier has an encounter with a mysterious old woman on the opening night of his earliest success; she entreats him, to his bewilderment, to 'come back to me.' Several years later, with his life and career in disarray, he seeks quiet and contemplation and checks in to a storied hotel from his youth. But his stay at the hotel turns into the journey of a lifetime as he unravels history-and time-to discover a powerful but perhaps impossible love." John Carrafa (Into the Woods) will choreograph Somewhere in Time, which will have musical direction by Patrick Vaccariello (West Side Story, Gypsy), scenic design by Alexander Dodge, costume design by Jeff Cone, lighting design by Mike Baldassari and orchestrations by Doug Katsaros and Bruce Couglin.

The original 1980 film "Somewhere in Time" starred Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.
