Samonsky and The Great Comet alum Azudi Onyejekwe will join Eden Espinosa and Carmen Cusack in the world premiere of Lempicka.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional casting and creative teams for its 2018 season, which includes the world premiere of Carson Kreitzer and Matt Gould’s musical Lempicka.

Joining the company of the musical, starring the previously announced Eden Espinosa and Tony nominee Carmen Cusack, are Andrew Samonsky (Scandalous) and Azudi Onyejekwe (The Great Comet); Raja Feather Kelly is also now attached as choreographer.

Also new to the Main Stage and Nikos Stage lineup are Portia and Ray Anthony Thomas in Artney Jackson, as well as Leon Addison Brown and James Waterston in The Member of the Wedding.

The Massachusetts organization has also added Joniece Abbott-Pratt, Gerry Bamman, and Tony winner Debra Monk to the roster; the three will star in a reading of Greg Keller’s The Jokers as part of the Season Sneak Peek series alongside Marin Ireland and Morgan Spector.

The assortment of designers joining the season includes Tony winners Natasha Katz and Clint Ramos, who will provide lighting design for Lempicka and costumes for The Member of the Wedding, respectively. For the latter, Gaye Taylor Upchurch will step in for the previously reported Lila Neugebauer as director.
