Caldwell Theatre's production of Little Shop of Horrors won five of the 22nd annual Carbonell Awards, given Oct. 27 by the South Florida Critics Association for excellence in South Florida Theatre.

However, the Herman Wouk-Jimmy Buffett musical Don't Stop the Carnival won three of the 14 Carbonells for which it was nominated, including Best New Work.

New Theatre won four of the awards for its staging of both parts of Tony Kushner's Angels in America.
