No details were available for the character Rose would be playing, but Steggert will play a college student whose father becomes a suspect in several sniper attacks.
Rose received a Tony Award for Caroline, or Change and an Obie Award for Eli's Comin'. Additional stage credits include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Footloose. She recently appeared in a concert reading of the revised On a Clear Day You Can See Forever at Vassar College. Screen credits include "Dreamgirls," "The Princess and the Frog" and the HBO series "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency."
This past season, Steggert received a Tony nomination for the revival of Ragtime and two Drama Desk nods for his work in Ragtime and the Broadway-bound Yank!. He recently appeared in The Grand Manner at Lincoln Center Theater. Additional stage credits include The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island (Drama Desk nomination), 110 in the Shade and Master Harold…and the boys. He has also appeared on "All My Children."
"The Good Wife" stars Juliana Margulies as Alicia Florrick, a politician's wife who is forced to return to her former life as an attorney when her husband is put in jail for sexual indiscretions and a political scandal. Stage vets Chris Noth, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming, Graham Phillips and Mary Beth Peil are regulars on the series, which airs Tuesdays at 10 PM ET on CBS.
