Presented at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Feb. 26, the awards will be broadcast live on FOX beginning at 8 PM ET.
"The Princess and the Frog," was nominated for Best Picture; while Tony winner Anika Noni Rose, who voiced Princes Tiana in the animated feature, received an Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture nomination. She also earned a nomination as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency."
Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture nominations went to Denzel Washington ("The Taking of Pelham 123"), Idris Elba ("Obsessed"), Jamie Foxx ("Law Abiding Citizen") and Morgan Freeman ("Invictus").
Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture nominations went to Adam Rodriguez ("Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself"), Anthony Mackie ("The Hurt Locker"), Chiwetel Ejiofor ("2012") and Danny Glover ("2012").
Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture nominees include Alfre Woodard ("American Violet") and Paula Patton ("Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire"). Spike Lee earned an Outstanding Directing in a Motion Picture nomination for his documentary of "Passing Strange," while Chandra Wilson earned an Outstanding Directing in a Dramatic Series for "Grey's Anatomy." Tyler Perry earned an Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture nomination for "I Can Do Bad All By Myself."
