The Tony-nominated actress will play a brief engagement at the famed jazz club through July 29. Show times are 8 and 10:30 PM each night. Callaway will offer tunes from her latest CD, "Blues in the Night." She will be backed by Ted Rosenthal on piano, Jay Leonhart on bass and Victor Lewis on drums.

July 26 also marks the premiere of Callaway's TV pilot, "The Singer's Spotlight." The program debuts on Chicago's PBS station WTTW. The first show in this series, which will soon be taped for a national PBS audience, features an interview with Academy Award winner Liza Minnelli. "Singer's Spotlight" was filmed before a live audience in Chicago.

Not only a singer, Ann Hampton Callaway is also an acclaimed songwriter, whose works have been performed by Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone and dozens of others. For her Broadway bow in Swing!, Callaway garnered a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her many recordings include "Ann Hampton Callaway," "Bring Back Romance," "To Ella with Love" and "After Ours." Callaway is also a recipient of 14 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Awards. Her newest CD is titled "Blues in the Night" (Telarc International).
