News Anne L. Nathan, Michael McCormick, Jared Loftin and More Set for Free Broadway's Future Concert Broadway’s Future Songbook Series — presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul — will continue Jan. 27 in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Directed, hosted and produced by John Znidarsic, the free evening will spotlight the songs of the award-winning writing team of James Olmstead (composer) and Omri Schein (lyricist). Show time is 6 PM.

Performers will include Anne L. Nathan, Michael McCormick, Jared Loftin, Krista Buccellato, Shoba Narayanan and Dimitri Moise.

This concert will feature selections from Gary Goldfarb: Master Escapist, the winner of the 2013 NYMF Award for Excellence in Writing (Lyrics) and the winner of the first annual NYMF/Steele Spring Stage Rights Publishing Award.

The musical, according to press notes, "follows Gary Goldfarb, an overweight Jewish boy who struggles through high school and fights for his dreams. He’s incessantly bullied. He’s trying to get the hot Indian Jewish girl to notice him. His over-bearing mother is far too much to handle. All Gary can do is escape thru the world of magic."

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium is located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
