Directed by Paul Mason Barnes, the cast features Sami Staitman (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat national tour) as Annie, Larry Cahn (The Graduate, Guys and Dolls) as Oliver Warbucks, Suzanne Grodner (Bye Bye Birdie, The Rose Tattoo) as Miss Hannigan, Emily Shoolin (Fiddler on the Rood national tour) as Grace Farrell, Dirk Lumbard (Chitty Chitty Band Bang) as Rooster, Gina Milo (Les Miserables) as Lily St. Regis, Ariana Bagley as July, David McCann as Alonso, Cedi Christensen as Kate, Alexia “Ally” Ioannides as Pepper, Lizzie Rosen as Duffy, Olivia Smith-Driggs as Tessie and Addie Wray as Molly. Sandy the dog is played by Mikey, a specially-trained theatrical dog provided by William Berloni Theatrical Animals, Inc.

The ensemble includes Ashley Gardner Carlson, Sarah Kae Childs, Breanna Bartley, Michelle Blake, Eric Lee Brotherson, Jackie Covas, Steven Fehr, Hannah Gemperline, Brian Michael Hoffman, Rashaan James II, Bailee Johnson, Mike Kirsch, Adam Lendermon, John Little, Sydney Peebler, Anne Stewart Mark, Maggie Scott and Jeffrey Scott Stevens.

Annie, according to Pioneer, "is the rags-to-riches story of America’s favorite redhead and her dog Sandy on their quest to join the family of Oliver Warbucks while battling the wicked orphanage warden Miss Hannigan." Annie features a book by Thomas Meehan, with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin.

Other members of the creative team include choreographer Patti D’Beck, musical director and conductor Michael Rice, set designer George Maxwell, costume designer K.L. Alberts, lighting designer Phil Monat, sound designer Matthew Tibbs, and hair and makeup designer Amanda French.
