News Annoying Actor Friend Will Release Second Book, "#GRATEFUL," a Choose-Your-Own Showbiz Adventure "#GRATEFUL: Everything Happens for a Reason," by Annoying Actor Friend, a choose-your-own show-business adventure book (and the sequel to "#SOBLESSED: the Annoying Actor Friend's Guide to Werking in Show Business"), will be released Nov. 30.

In "#GRATEFUL," which will be available in paperback and on Amazon Kindle, the reader is placed in the middle of the Broadway industry and is in control of his or her own fate. With over 100 different choices and endings, the reader's potential trajectories are endless.

According to press notes, "What if you went to the chorus call that you bailed on because it was cold as balls outside? What if you booked that role that went to the person it usually goes to? What if you took a Ricola before that callback instead of a shot of Jameson? What if you killed someone? Show business is full of infinite possibilities, and only in '#GRATEFUL' will you have to opportunity to see every single alternative. So, like, this book is basically Laura Osnes' cabaret The Paths Not Taken, having sex with a cracked out If/Then, while listening to 'Serial.'"

"#SOBLESSED" debuted in 2013 and became the No. 1 Amazon best-selling theatre and parody book on its first day of sale. An audiobook version, benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, features the voices of Alan Cumming, Lesli Margherita, Megan Hilty, Julia Murney, Will Swenson, Keala Settle, Tituss Burgess, Krysta Rodriguez, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Brian Dennehy.

"#SOBLESSED" is available on Amazon here.

Annoying Actor Friend began as a parody Twitter account (@Actor_Friend) spoofing social media behavior and spun off into a blog, where it did everything from recapping NBC's "Smash" to constructing drinking games for awards shows such as the Tonys. The account became a voice that inspired actors to evoke change within the stage union, Actors' Equity Association, as well as ignite the viral movement #Dim4Joan that motivated the Broadway League to reverse its decision not to dim the lights of Broadway in memory of Joan Rivers.
