News Another Week Added to Loomer's Off-Broadway Distracted, Starring Nixon Roundabout Theatre Company announced a second one-week extension of the New York premiere production of Distracted by Lisa Loomer, now to May 17 at Off-Broadway's Laura Pels Theatre.

Mark Brokaw directs the comedy that opened March 4. Tony Award winner Cynthia Nixon stars as a mom seeking answers about her son's health. The cast of Distracted features Peter Benson, Shana Dowdeswell, Lisa Emery, Natalie Gold, Matthew Gumley, Mimi Lieber, Aleta Mitchell and Josh Stamberg.

According to Roundabout, "Distracted is a fast-paced and disarmingly funny look at parenting in the age of the Internet and Ritalin. In this New York premiere, a contemporary American mom reaches out to teachers, psychotherapists, and neighbors to figure out if Attention Deficit Disorder is the root of her son's problems."
