Film & TV News Anthony Rapp and His Star Trek: Discovery Co-Stars Parody Rent’s ‘Seasons of Love’ In a promo for their Carpool Karaoke segment, the leading quartet sing a re-written version of the signature Rent tune.

Broadway favorite Anthony Rapp, along with Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, and Mary Wiseman of the CBS All Access series Star Trek: Discovery, star in the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke, the spinoff series from the sketch on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

Available for free on the Apple TV app, Rapp and his co-stars sing some classic disco songs, but, of course, chime in on Rent. As part of the promotion for the episode, the quartet spoofed “Seasons of Love” with new lyrics for their Trekkie fans. Watch below:

Rapp, Rent's original Mark Cohen, plays Paul Stamets on the CBS show. Star Trek: Discovery also stars Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber; Cruz is also a Rent alum, having played Angel on Broadway.
