News Anthony Warlow Will Step Into Broadway's Finding Neverland; Kelsey Grammer Sets Return Date Kelsey Grammer is planning to take time off from his role as Captain Hook in the Broadway musical Finding Neverland this summer, but will return in the fall.

Australian actor Anthony Warlow will step into Finding Neverland in mid-July. An exact date will be announced shortly. Grammer will return to the production Sept. 13.

No reason for the hiatus was given.

Grammer has appeared in five Broadway shows, including La Cage aux Folles as Georges and the title role of Macbeth, but is perhaps best known to the general public for his starring role on the TV sitcom "Frasier."

Warlow has extensive regional and international credits, but made his Broadway debut as Daddy Warbucks in the most recent revival of Annie.

* Finding Neverland, the new Broadway musical that tells the tale of how Peter became Pan — starring Matthew Morrison as famed author J.M. Barrie — officially opened April 15 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus, the musical stars Morrison ("Glee," South Pacific), Laura Michelle Kelly (Mary Poppins), Carolee Carmello (Parade), Teal Wicks, Alex Dreier, Aidan Gemme, Jackson DeMott Hill, Noah Hinsdale, Sawyer Nunes, Christopher Paul Richards and Hayden Signoretti.

Rounding out the cast are Courtney Balan, Dana Costello, Colin Cunliffe, Rory Donovan, Chris Dwan, Kevin Kern, Josh Lamon, Melanie Moore, Mary Page Nance, Fred Odgaard, Emma Pfaeffle, Jonathan Ritter, Tyley Ross, Julius Anthony Rubio, Paul Slade Smith, Ron Todorowski, Jaime Verazin and Jessica Vosk.

Previews began March 15 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Based on the Academy Award-winning Miramax motion picture by David Magee, and the play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan Knee, Finding Neverland "follows the relationship between playwright J. M. Barrie and the family that inspired 'Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up' – one of the most beloved stories of all time," according to press notes.

Finding Neverland features direction by Paulus (Pippin, Hair) with a book by Olivier Award nominee James Graham, music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Grammy Award winner Eliot Kennedy, and choreography by Emmy Award winner Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance").

The production features scenic design by Tony Award winner Scott Pask (Pippin, Book of Mormon), lighting design by Tony Award winner Kenneth Posner (The Coast of Utopia, Pippin), costume design by Suttirat Larlarb (Of Mice and Men) and sound design by Tony Award nominee Jonathan Deans (Pippin, La Cage aux Folles).
