The new recording, scheduled for a Jan. 11 release, also features the talents of Barbara Hendricks, Rebecca Caine, Bo Skovhus, Camilla Nylund, Song Zuying, Inger Dam-Jensen, Gisela Stille, Johnny van Hal, Anton Saris, Jamie Bryce and the Sylvia Young Theater School Children’s Choir. "Children First" is described as an "integrated sequence of songs that describes the human life cycle in music and text." In addition to the title track, other songs include “All of These Things You Are to Me” and “Heaven’s Lullaby.” Composers and lyricists who contributed to the recording include Carsten Johs. Mørch, Amy Powers, Lisa Freeman, Richard Rudolph and Carsten Mørch.
Three dollars from the sale of each CD will benefit UNICEF, which provides services in disaster ravaged countries and petitions for children’s right in 190 countries around the world.
