News Any Given Monday Reading Features Robert Cuccioli, Laila Robins, Anna Chlumsky, Pete Pryor The Active Theater in association with Bud Martin presents a private reading of the Barrymore Award-winning play Any Given Monday April 4 at 2 PM at New World Stages in Manhattan.

The cast of Bruce Graham's play features Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli as the sensitive Lenny, three-time Barrymore Award winner Pete Pryor as Micky, Laila Robins as Lenny’s mid-life crisis-stricken wife Risa and Anna Chlumsky as Lenny’s philosophical daughter. In Any Given Monday, press notes state, "Lenny is not having a good Monday. His two least favorite football teams are playing on the TV, his daughter is having a crisis of faith and his wife left him for a jerk who builds Walmarts. When his best friend Mickey has the perfect plan to fix his marital problems, Lenny has to decide what he is willing to stand up for and whom he is willing to stand up to. When political correctness, religion, class discrimination and social injustice just don’t add up anymore, how can we define right and wrong?"

The Active Theater will produce the New York premiere production of Any Given Monday in October with Bud Martin directing.

New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street in New York City.  For more information contact David Tracy at (646) 275-4757 or via e-mail at [email protected].
