News   Apgar, Moore, Russell, Martinson, McGuinness and Steeves Cast in The 49 Project
Producer Jack Thomas of Bulldog Theatrical will present Mary Adkins' The 49 Project — part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival — Aug. 25-29 at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre.

Directed by Marshall Pailet, the cast will feature Clayton Apgar, Dylan Moore, Brian Russell (The Farnsworth Invention, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial), Zoey Martinson, Alexis McGuinness and Finnerty Steeves.

"Years have passed since men, the minority population, have been marginalized in government by the female majority," according to press notes. "Discriminatory legislation has stripped them of many of the rights and privileges they once held. The only hope for male equality may rest with 20-year-old Christina. But will she be the passionate provost for change or a deceptive pawn in an impious political game?"

The creative team includes scenic designer Eugenia Furneaux-Arends and lighting designer Grant Yeager.

Show times are Aug. 25 at 8:45 PM, Aug. 26 at 2 PM, Aug. 27 at 3 and 7 PM, Aug. 28 at 9:15 PM and Aug. 29 at 5:30 PM.

The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre is located in Manhattan at 38 Commerce Street. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased by visiting www.FringeNYC.org or by calling (866) 468-7619. For more information visit www.the49project.com.
